We Sharadchandra Pawar College of Enginering running the “Earn and Learn Scheme” in association with board of Students Development, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune for the needy students.
Under this scheme we assigned the work like library documentation preparation, Software installation, preparing soft copy from hard copy, tree maintenance, instrument maintenance, laboratory work, cleanliness of the campus, administrative work etc. Due to this scheme students not only get honorarium for the work, but they also get a stage to develop their professional skills of handling administrative & other works. The scheme has been very popular in the college and each year number of applications is increasing to join the same.
In this scheme students are earning Rs.45/- per hour for their work.
