An online session of “IPR for Faculty Members” by Dr. P. R. Deshmukh, was organized by Sharadchandra Pawar college of engineering Otur. Dr. P. R. Deshmukh, focused on ‘Intellectual Property and its significance, various aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, and their role in the present era. He also briefed about Patents, Patent Rights, trademarks, industrial designs, and copyrights. He focused on the procedure for applying for patents and the time-bound it takes. He concluded the talk by giving the importance of patents in the industry. Their presentation was much informative.
