The department has well qualified and experienced staff. We have excellent record of results and placements. Department is enriched with the laboratories with de-facto standards.Laboratories are well equipped with latest software and hardware. The available licensed software are Rational Rose, Visual Studio 6.0, Oracle 10g, Linux, Novell Netware, Windows 2003 server, Windows 8.1, Windows 7,Quick heal Antivirus, Microsoft Office 2007 etc. Department has 195 computers with latest configuration and 20 peripherals to fulfil the students requirements. 20 Mbps leased line internet connectivity laid across the campus with Wi-Fi. Students are trained in Computer Programming for engineering applications to meet the IT Industry challenges.

COMPUTER ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION
Computer Engineering Students Association was established in the year 2009. It plays an important role in the development of student as an engineer not only in academic as well as by various co-curriculum and extracurricular activities. Under this association, various activities are organized by which ACES aims to provide the platform for all the students of Computer Engineering. The various activities organized are expert lectures, workshops, quiz, competitions, industrial visits, aptitude tests, guidance for exams like GATE, CAT, GMAT, CET, GRE, TOEFL and competitive exams.
Membership Eligibility:
All the students admitted in the engineering undergraduate program in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Shardchandra Pawar College of Engineering and Research,dumbarwadi (Otur),is eligible for membership.
